Who, Where, When?

• Steven Scotloff was kept hostage by the ISIS terrorist group (aka: Islamic States)
• The man who killed him was known as Jihad John
• This took place in Israel on September 2nd, 2014.

• Steven was the only one killed by ISIS on this day. But, ISIS has obviously killed many more people.
• The main goal of the attack was to warn the United States Government of their involvement in trying to change our government's policies.
• ISIS uses the technique of beheading for many victims.

• Also, they don't a well-organized organization.
• If ISIS wants to be more powerful, they need to have more "brains" in their organization. (hopefully they don't become more powerful.)

• Explosives, suicide bombers, hostages, world-wide media, bribery, etc are all examples of methods used by ISIS.
• The beheading of Mr. Scotloff was also a method used by ISIS used to get the attention of the American government.
