Anne Klein
- Anne Klein was an American Fashion Designer who founded her own womens sportswear and apperal lable.
- Calvin Klein is an American fashion Designer who launchd the company that later became Calvin Klein Inc. In addition to clothing klein also gave his name to perfume, watches and jewlery.
- Anne & Calvin were Not related.
- In 1921, Hannah Golofski was born in Brooklyn NY.
- She went to Girls Commercial High School were she won a scholarship to the Traphagen School of Fashion.
- By 1936 she worked as a Sketcher on New York 7th Ave. Where she then changed her name to Anne Klein.
- After marrying her first husband Ben Klein, she joined Varden Petites and was responsible for the junior lines.
- In 1948, she formed her own firm Junior Sophisticates and made designs for young women.
- In 1968 she formed Anne Klein & Co.
- Anne died of Cancer Mar 1974.
