Life during the Great depression
- During the great depression millions were out of work
- some people had to wait hours in bread lines just to get food to survive
- the Roaring Twenties had come to a halt, the decade that was so economically prosperous was no more
The Stock Market crashes
- On October 29th 1929 the stock market crashed resulting in the largest economic crash in history
- this day became known as black Tuesday
- the crash occurred due to the panic that occurred when the stocks began to drop
- due to most banks putting their customers money in the stocks at the time millions of people lost their money
- the largest economic depression in history had begun

- the time period was called the roaring twenties due to the lifestyle of the time
- people would spend their free time partying, drinking, and listening to jazz
- Baseball, and movies where how many people spent their time

- this economic expansion was due to how undamaged the U.S. when the war ended
