Microbial Forensics
What Forensics?
Microbial Forensics
It's when forensic scientists analyse microbiological evidence left behind at crime scenes.
Just...What?
Breakdown;
- Microbials = Very very tiny organisms, some that are bactirial.
- Humans are covered in them. (I mean everywhere. Seriously)
So In Other Words...
So...
Microbial forensics is when we study these teeny tiny organisms to figure out where something or someone came from.
Remember kids when commiting a crime always wear gloves.

Well What About CSI?
What they did is still an actual thing.
People have unique microbial fingerprints
They can even give clues about what a person's home is like!
Okay I Think I Get It
Great! Now why is this even relvant???
Well it Can't be Real
Actaully it is. Microbial Forensics used in cases that involve disease outbreaks. They can even track back to the origin.
Spoiler Alert!
- Deadly germs stolen
- Question big pharma company
- Use Microbial Forensics
- Case Solved
Well DB Russle does it!
"Bad Blood"
Who doesn't love CSI? In S15E03, Microbial Forensics was used to solve the case.
