-Around the age of 12 Coral started to fantasize about killing girls and young women.

-After that he began to stalk girls and is believed to have killed his first victim before the age of 15.

-On June 29th, 1969 Carl was arrested for sexually assaulting a 26 year old women named Joan Gave. Carl was sentenced to the Lafayette Clinic, a mental hospital in Detroit. They said he suffered from mental retardation.

-Even though Carl had poor grades, he graduated from high school in 1973 and received a football scholarship to Lane College in Jackson, TN. He was only there for three months and got expelled for stalking and assaulting women.

-After he got expelled he

moved to Houston, TX

His murdering career began in 1974, his first known crime was when he

murdered a women named

Gloria Steele. He was never

charged for the crime.

He was the Sunday Morning slasher because he killed most of his victims on Sunday Mornings. The news paper and news stations titled him as the "Sunday Morning slasher"

Coral killed dozens of women from 1974-1982

Carl was suspected for a lot of crimes but was never charged. He didn't

get arrested until 1982

Coral Killed his victims by

Strangling, Stabbing & Drowning them.

He confessed to killing over 80 people & his victims were between the ages of 15 & 44

A Twist in the Case!

Carl's Case took a complete turn, when his attorneys discovered that judge shaver didn't specify the water in the bathtub as a deadly weapon. That gave Carl a chance to opportunity to file a appeal against his convection.

The court agreed since there

was no evidence that he used a

deadly weapon, he was charged

3 days for one day he was in

prison. His crime was reduced

to burglary. he was now going

to be out by 2006.
