  • Vittorio Sartori Obici's uncle offered to take Obici to America
  • After alot of talk, Obici went with his uncle and found himself in Pennsylvania
  • On each bag, he put A letter of his last name: O,B,I, and C
  • He put the letter O on every 50 bags
  • The person who won or bought the bag with the letter O won a "golden watch"
  • The watch was really plastic and colored in gold which cost Obici a dollar to buy
  • Peruzzi and Obici created Planters Peanuts
  • At that time they only were selling peanuts
  • In 1908 Obici had an idea and expanded there business from only peanuts to peanuts and chocolate
  • In 1930 Obici discovered a new and better way to eat peanuts, and you needed to do was to skin them
