In 1896 in twain’s later years he fell into a great depression after his daughter died of a disease called meningitis.

Horace Greeley
Horace Greeley was an only child and was a boy from a poor family.
When Horace became 14 he left home to become an assitant of a newspaper writer.
In 1838 the Whig party wanted Horace to edit a major national campaign newspaper.
Not long after the election, Greeley's wife died. He descended into madness and died before the electoral votes could be cast.

Mark twain and Horace Greeley are very much alike and very diffrent.
Mark and horace grew up in poor families, leaving home at a young a age to go explore the world. Both were once working in a printing press both were great writers as well.
