Analysis:
However, the last thing on their mind is the cost and consequences of their actions
Vandalism costs time, money, and effort from staff, OUPD, and residence hall maintenence
Our Possible Solutions:
-Adding cameras to dorms and university buildings.
-Adding security foot patrols on campus greens.
-Locking side doors in dorms so there is only one entrance.
-Providing a re-education campaign to teach students about the effects and consequences of vandalism.
Analysis :
Vandalism on our campus is and has been an ongoing issue for many years.
The nature of vandalism is problematic because it cost lots of money and students are facing reprecussions that are potentially damaging to their future

From arson to ripping things off on the bathrooms, students always find new forms of vandalism to take part in
We chose to combine the re-education campaign with the use of the one-door policy in the dorms.
Ron Brooks and APD graffiti investigator has asked a $10 donation from many organizations and implemented a source where donations to be made to help combat graffiti
Mason is an RA in the Convocation Center who has first hand experience dealing with vandalism and destruction of campus property.
A report from 2010 states that the problem has continued over many years and has increased in uptown areas
Benefits:
-Cost effective for the university.
-Preventative measures against vandalism.
