  • Though Menelaus was determined to kill Helen, he was so taken by her beauty, he decided to let her live

The Trojan Horse

  • The city of Troy accepted the horse as the Greek's defeat
  • They celebrated with feasts and drinking
  • That night, the Greeks devastated the city
  • The Trojan Horse won the Trojan War for the Greeks
  • Began with Judgment of Paris
  • Aphrodite granted him Helen in exchange for the Golden Apple
  • Aphrodite made Helen fall in love with Paris
  • But Helen was already married to King Menelaus
  • Both fled to Troy
  • The 10th year of the War
  • The Trojan Horse was a giant, hollow, wooden horse
  • The Greek soldiers hid inside
  • Sinon was left behind to present the "gift"
