Nike has invested in training their managers to keep a good working space and no trouble. They have also moved factories outside of prying eyes and have taken steps to stop this and they have gone a long way.
The Abuse of Workers
Workers are sometimes brutally abused and sometimes verbally abused. Workers are put in the sun for hours on end. Workers would sometimes be mutilated in the sun with machetes and left to die in the gutters. Also workers were hit until they bleed.
At the Nike factories workers are being paid under minimum wage with long hours.Workers are being paid 50 cents and hour (especially woman) and are working at least 50 hours a week. Since workers are being paid this much they are only able to afford little food and a bunkhouse. Living like this is bad for these workers health.

As punishments in Nike factories workers were fired for little mistakes like having a sick day or even messing up one rubber sole. Also as punishments to the workers, they would be kicked and slapped and even throw shoes at them. This is not only treating workers badly but unfairly and this needs to be stopped.
Have you every heard or bought anything from Nike? Do you know how they make their products? They use factories workers. Other big companies do the same. It might not seem like using factory workers is bad, but it is! Especially when the workers are treated in horrible ways.
