• The highlight of this period was construction of Holy Samadh of Param Guru Huzur Sarkar Sahab at Murar.
• Pawan Smrityalaya and Bal Satsang Darshan: Pawan Smrityalaya was established in Dayal Niwas in 1983. It enshrines the Holy Ashes of Param Guru Sahabji Maharaj and Param Guru Mehtaji Maharaj.

Whatever size the University may take, we must not deviate from our basic principles. If you do so, you have lost everything! Establishing of the Institutions and the University is secondary. • Along with other things that Huzur Dr. Lal Sahab mentioned on that occasion was that He had been entrusted by Huzur Mehtaji Maharaj two Sevas- construction of Roorkee Colony, look after Dayalbagh Educational Institute.
• Huzur asked him to work so that the Institute becomes well-known and hinted at establishment of a University.

• An Advisory Committee on Education, conceived of as a think tank, was constituted in 1991 to suggest, inter-alia, the steps necessary for achieving highest levels of excellence in the institutions at all levels in Satsang Institutions.

About Him....

• Param Guru Huzur Dr. Makund Bihari Lal Sahab was born on 31st January, 1907 in Biswan, District Sitapur.
• Huzur Dr. Lal Sahab obtained his High School Leaving Certificate in 1922 from Government College, Sitapur and passed the Intermediate Examination from Christian Intermediate College, Lucknow and thereafter He studied in Lucknow University for Bachelors and Masters Degree in Science (Biology) which He received in 1926 and 1928 respectively.

Satsang Connection

• Huzur Dr. Lal Sahab became the member of the Radhasoami Satsang Sabha on 19.3.1956 and of its Executive Committee on 30.4.1973. He took retirement from Sabha from 1.1.1980. Dayalbagh Educational Institute was constituted in 1971 by Huzur Mehtaji Maharaj on His recommendation.

"The students who come here should carry with them a hallmark of this place, so that they would draw the public-remark, 'Oh! This boy is from Dayalbagh! ' Even from a distance it should be obvious that He is a boy educated in Dayalbagh"

Work Areas

• Huzur Dr. Lal Sahab was an internationally known Zoologist and had represented India and chaired several international conferences. He had represented India at the tercentenary of the Royal Society in 1960 in London.
• He was Vice-President of International Congress of Zoology, London (1958), Chairman of the Open Session of the International Congress of History of Science, Cornell and Philadelphia (1962) and President of the Zoology section of Indian National Congress (1957).
