Sports for Women
Cote-Hardie
- The Cote-Hardie: a tightly fitted jacket with long set-in sleeves and buttons in the front.
- The Drape: a long piece of fabric with a single hole through which the left arm is passed. There are various ways to wear it.
- Tights: sometimes made with leather soles and worn without shoes. Made of silk and often embroidered with gold.
- The Crespine: a headdress of golden network was worn. Golden bands and ribbon fillets were also used.
- The Lappet: a band of fur or material fastened on the sleeve over the elbow.
- The Simarre: An uncorseted dress fitting closely to the hips and widened into a full skirt.
