Gilda Radner was diagnosed with Bulimia.

Bulimia is an emotional disorder involving

distortion of body image and an obsessive

desire to lose weight, in which extreme

amounts of over eating are followed by

depression and self-induced vomiting.

She ended up divorcing her husband G.E. Smith“My private life was all obsessive eating and throwing up” and “..I had thrown up in every toilet in Rockefeller Center..”

She became very skinny (90 lbs). Also, she was not able to conceive any children and had two miscarriages.

No, but she did overcome it when she married Gene Wilder and when she wanted to start a family.

Being made fun of as a child for her weight and Stardom are the reasons, I think, that lead to her eating disorder.
