There is plenty of management needed to make and run an airline business and the plane. In order to run this type of business that has a capital-intensive you need many different management options. Through the production process you need several managers for many different parts to the process. Such as:

In conclusion, This is how i would manage and run my own airline company if i were the owner. I have shown this in all the important factors of production and explained my production process. This is how L & J Airlines would be operated.

As you can see, in order to run and manage the production of an airplane, you would not be the only manager, you would be in need of hiring a lot of other managers with certain roles. Just for the production of a single plane, for ten this amount would be 10X more. This can be a costly expense having to pay all the mangers and workers below them.

There is plenty of information needed just for the construction of the plane let alone all of the time scheduling and processing. Fortunately for this type of a service business. The owner does not need to know all the information himself/herself because there are many different management offers to hire. This takes away all the information from himself/herself because the owner can appoint people that specialize in the different areas of work involved in making the aircraft. The only information needed for the owner would be obviously the understanding of his own field of work but also the specific expertise he needs to produce and run his service. With that information he can run his business successfully.
Unlike many service businesses, airlines need more than storefronts and telephones to get started. They need an incredible amount of expensive equipment and facilities, from airplanes to flight simulators to all labour included. As a result, the airline industry is a capital-intensive business, requiring large amounts of money to operate effectively. Most equipment is payed for through loans or the issuance of stock. Increasingly, airlines are also leasing equipment, including equipment they owned previously but sold to someone else and leased back. Whatever arrangements an airline chooses to act on, its capital needs to require consistent profitability. Therefor it will maintain being a capital-intensive business.
Airlines also are labor intensive. Each major airline employs a virtual army of pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, baggage handlers, reservation agents, gate agents, security personnel, cooks, cleaners, managers, accountants, lawyers, etc. Although computers have allowed for airlines to automate tasks, it does not change the fact that it is a service business that requires personal attention to customers. More then one-third of the revenue accomplished each day by an airline goes to pay there workforce. This small fact just proves how much labour is involved in the construction and operation of an aircraft and airline business. Overall this is a sum up of jobs included in this business but there a many more involved. As i said before it is a labour intensive business.
As i stated before in the quality control section. When running an airline business you have certain requirements to meet by the ISO. The ISO has set out the grade rating for airplanes at a Grade A Prime. Our products are not sold, they are used as a service therfor there is no less-than perfect graded products that are used for cheaper and what not. All of our products must meet the expectation for safety and grading. There for all of our products are at the highest grade possible for safety and precautionary reasons. Overall our service meets a grade A rating meeting the ISO requirements.
Jet engines are in a position at the forefront of commercial aviation's push for new raw materials because the demands on them would surpass what nature can offer.
Therefor there have been drastic implementations of new materials too aircraft vehicles. Using the example of the newer model of the Airbus A350, here are the raw materials used, as percentages: (These materiel's would be multiplied by ten to make the 10 units which would mean a lot of composites needed)
When running a business that is a service to people world wide counting on the business to keep them safe, such as an airline company like mine. Quality control becomes a huge factor. The quality control for a company is run by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization). The ISO set a quality rating of an great quality for airline companies to meet. Therefor in this area of my business, i have no say in the overall quality control of my company, but requirements to meet. But i can dispurse the quality and purchasing in different parts of the production process, as long as i reach the rating of the ISO.
With the technological advances of today in aircraft engineering. Engineers have discovered new materials that seem to be safer and more effective on airplanes. The newest being using composite materiel for both the exterior and interior of the plane. Airplanes today are now made up of 53% composites. General Electric Co., the biggest jet-engine maker and a world leader in advanced materials, is building new factories to create natural composite engine parts, These natural composites exist in both animals and plants. Composites consist of many different products such as wood which is made from natural resources such as cellulose fibers, or even cotton used in the interior of a plane which is also made of the natural cellulose fibers. Most composites are made of just two materials. One is the matrix or binder. It surrounds and binds together fibers or fragments of the other material, which is called the reinforcement. Both the matrix and he reinforcement are natural resources, such as cellulose fibers or calcium phosphate. Overall there are hundreds or materiel involved in making a plane. Most of which created using natural resources such as elements. There are to many to name but the most frequently used reasource when making a plane is cellulose fibers found in plants and used in composites.
Many of the products and materials needed to construct my airplanes go through short time processing to reach my manufacturer. A majority of the materials used are found on our own canadian soil. Such as the aluminum which is a huge product produced in Canada, the most used composites and Titanium. The only large product that we are not able to retrieve from Canada is the steel. We import our steel from the country leading in steel production, the U.S. The U.S being in such close proximity to us allows for us to cut down the processing of the steel and transportation times. Overall the processing runs extremely well for my business considering we are able to get almost all of our materials from our own country which cuts back time that we can later invest in our manufacturing.
In this demonstration video, i tried to meet the equity lens requirements for my viewers. I did this by making the descriptions of the steps easy to understand, and repeat myself for viewers that may have a difficult time understanding. I also did not specify gender when explaining i simply refereed to the viewer as "you". By doing so i belive i covered a majority of the equity lenses, in the demonstration.
Being responsible for the purchasing of my own company i have many options to choose from. The airline business is a business based off extremely large amounts of money that cannot be invested by a single owner. Therefor, considering the production of 10, Airbus 350 planes being extremely costly, having to purchase 10x the material. My plan for the purchasing of the production materials and labour is to merit an entire department. i would do so because this business is to large to outsource the entire purchasing to agents. Although for certain smaller parts of the plane such as the interior i may consider outsourcing to purchasing agents, because they can find me negotiated prices on good quality materials. There are many materials and parts needed to making a plane but it is not a product that you can choose low quality materials and have no consequences. A plane is different you need good quality materials because in the case of a plane, the consequence would be the death of people. This is where the outsourcing comes in, because outsourcing agents are able to negotiate low prices on good products. This is how i would run my purchasing.
