  • Poor, third world countries located mainly in Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia. There are also countries in the Middle East which are suffering largely due to recent wars.

  • Good bacteria is essential for sustaining life on Earth.

  • Bad bacteria has a huge negative impact on human health and therefore is harmful to the overall environment.

  • Intestinal bacteria also produce some vitamins needed by the body.
  • Certain kinds of bacteria live in the intestines of human beings and other animals. These bacteria help in digestion and in destroying harmful organisms.
  • The consuquences are prolonged illness and possibly death.
  • Bacteria caused illnesses cost the United States billions of dollars a year in the hospital and other medical expense.
  • There are bacteria that make us sick. These diseases are cholera, gonorrhea, leprosy, pneumonia, syphilis, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, and whooping cough.
  • On the other hand, beneficial bacteria in the form of probiotics for instance, can prevent intestinal and other disease therefore saving a significant amount of medical expense.
  • Bacteria on the skin keeps the skin healthy and protects against fungus infections.
  • The symptoms of bacterial infection are fever, vomiting and fatigue.
