Gaurdian of the
forest
~ Tata Duende is the traditional guardian angel of all the animals and people of the forest.
- Tata duende is feared by many hunters because if they are seen with any weapon he will chop their heads off and use it to decorate his own home.
Tata Duende
~He is also known to be a kind creature by nature and is often said to feed, protect, and cure people hurt or lost in the forest. He punishes anyone who harms an animal or anything in the forest.
~Tata Duende is a little bearded man with no thumbs, a big red hat, and backwards feet that confuses anyone who dares to follow it .
- Tata duende usually appears as either himself, a small animal, or someone familiar like a family friend or a family member and is always carrying a machete or a knotted stick.
- He will request to see your fingers and if you show him your thumb will take it away since he doesn't have any.
- The only way you can avoid getting your thumbs taken away is by hiding it beneath your palm.
