During the battle many of the early casualties were on the british side this was a start to many people believing Europe would fall but the british fault hard back and with many attacks were able to keep there territory

What If the outcome changed

1700 Luftwaffe planes were destroyed. The 2662 German casualties included many experienced aircrew

1250 aircraft, including 1017 fighters. In all, 520 men were killed serving with Fighter Command.

If the germans had successfully made it to the british isles the entire war would be very different any believe if the hadn't been so hindered by the british that they would have gone after the Russians adding more war land but the resilience was strong and changed much of the air war in Europe
