El Sewedy has a five competitors having strengths and weaknesses. 

Political Issue: 

El Sewedy was effected by Egypt crisis in last three years. 

  • It is a price leader producing quality electrical goods and services competitively.

  • Elsewedy acquired Iskraemeco, the Slovakian energy solutions company,thereby increasing the customer base and the quality of its products.

  • Elsewedy cables began building a series of new factories locally and internationally, in order to provide best quality products at a reasonable price.

  • Elsewedy targets almost all sectors: public, government sector, private sector, and professional end-users. It used as a balance strategy between these sectors to avoid loss of profitability.

  • Elsewedy has strong business links with some competitors as its favored customers.
