What seems to be resistance to
change is usually a lack of clarity.
What seems to be a personal problem is usually a situational problem.
Change isn’t hard because people are lazy. Change is hard because it requires constant self-regulation which can be exhausting.
To make change, we need:
The rational mind analytic, uses facts
The emotional mind impulsive, uses feelings

Have a specific final goal so that your critical moves make an ultimate change.
Focus on what IS working and try to replicate it.
Focusing on what is not working will only waste time.
Don’t think about the whole plan.
Focus right now on specific actions that will get you to your goal.

Change your environment and surroundings to change behaviours.
Behaviour is contagious, so gather a group of people to help spread change.

Break down change into smaller steps
so that a large change doesn't scare
people.
People to feel a cause for change.
Facts alone will not help make a large change in behaviour.
Give a sense of identity to the person or group of people you want to see a change in.
Identities: parent, student, Catholic, coach or doctor
Encourage a growth mindset.
