The five nations that started the London Naval Treaty were the United States,France, Great Britain,Italy, and Japan.

The five nations goals were planning to stop weapon use,and prevent future wars by disarming each nations that use have weapons. The purpose of the meeting was to promote disarmament in the wake of the devastation of the WW1.

In 1939 Great Britain,France, and the United States

signed the London Naval Treaty. In 1936 Japan decided they were not moving forward with the treaty.Japan and Italy declined.
