Blizzards are form by cold air that blows out of the artic,
into a mass of warm air called the temperate zone. The
temperate zone forces the warm air up. This produces a
snow storm with cold air winds. Blizzards mostly occur
on TheNorth Great Plains. South Dakota is known as
the "Blizzard State".The blizzard that struck Afghanistan on February of 2008 was devastating. The tempature fell to -30 degrees celcius. More than 180 centimeters of snow fell.
When a blizzard is ocuring there is alot of snow and the tempature goes below zero.
