Ancient Chinese Flamethrower

1)

Flamethrowers (today) work by using a chemical reaction between two (or more) substances. Usually, these substances are oxygen, gasoline (or napalm), and something to propel the flame out (usually compressed air). Flamethrowers in the past worked on different principles, however (they used most of the same substances though). They were piston powered and sprayed a flammable liquid through a flame, and then pushed the ignited liquid out.

The flamethrower is a weapon (or tool) that sprays burning fuel.

The flamethrower should be purchased due to it’s wide range of uses. It can be used for defending cities, destroying enemy ships, performing assaults, clearing trenches, and even burning unwanted vegetation. To think that you can do all that with the same device is insane!

Our Claim:

More recently, they were used in World War 2 in assaults and to burn down forests and bunkers. Another use was clearing front-line trenches of enemy soldiers. They are also used by civilians such as farmers in “controlled burning” of vegetation on sugar cane plantations.

The Chinese invention known as the fire-spitter (aka flamethrower) is the best Chinese invention.

Advances in military technology aided the Song Dynasty in its defense against hostile neighbors to the north, including the Mongols. The Song Dynasty soldiers mounted flamethrowers on top of city walls so that they to repel enemy sieges. These flamethrowers could be mounted onto ships and could fire huge streams of flame into enemy ships, cause them to burn and sink.
