What is the Industrial Revolution?

The Weaving Loom

The Industrial Revolution effected Britain. Some effects can be more pollution because they used more fossil fuels for the new technology. Then their was the growing of the middle class. The middle class was not poor but not rich.

Effects of the Revolution

The Industrial Revolution was caused mainly by the Agricultural Revolution. This was because the landowners had to fence their farms in and made smaller farmers move to the rural areas. Then new technology developed in cities and more people came to rural areas. This started the Industrial Revolution.

Causes of the Revolution

The Industrial Revolution was the use if machinery to work more easily with the new technology.

How does the Industrial Revolution relate to Imperialism?

The Industrial Revolution is related to Imperialism because the development of new technology spread around the world. As time passed, countries wanted more land and colonies for national pride and money. So with the technology, they conquered new lands which is imperialism. This led to militarism, the build up of a countries' army, to protect these new lands.

Imperialism was the conquering of new lands. Countries wanted more land for money, national pride, and a little bit of religion.
