The Formula (Content Chart)

What? A large poster, handmade by the teacher with input from the class, that students refer to throughout a course of study or school year. Can include academic content or classroom routines/procedures.

Why? The chart makes thinking visible by including the most important information about the topic of study or routine/procedure. It is an active learning tool that supports student understanding of the topic.
