What is a Griot?
A griot is a historian, story teller, praise singer, poet, or a musician, and female griots are called griottes. They keep record of the history of a group, and need to remain serious. Not everyone can be a griot. You need to go through years of training.
Oral traditions
Oral traditions are traditions that parents or grandparents pass down to their children in a way of speaking.

Africa has hundreds of ethnic groups, and they are all different. The groups have different a language and culture. traditions and customs vary dependening on the group's religion, the area they live in, and their needs of life.
