Optional Choices

If we look which material should we use to made , there are some different options

• It might be aliminium casting or pig casting.We could use pig casting cause it is cheaper, harder and has more strength.
• Maybe we put signal lamp on the cover.

How it works

What i used for instead of refractive spring?

• We would like to produce 3 different sizes for short conveyor belt,normal and long.
• I made square gaskets in the desing of cover. And I recommend using silicone instead of plastic.

• External lever actuating 3 switches . 2 of them for alarm and other one is for shutting down.They actuating in different angles

• Power Springs are identified by many coils of strip material stored in a case, barrel, or band, and connected to a central shaft.

• This action creates an increasing torque for as many turns as it can be wound until there is no material left.
• We prevented the crashes, and it made the assembly easer than former one.

When this shaft is rotated,

the material starts to wind flat against it.

• We could equipped with a by-pass lever, which is by passes the 3rd disc (shut down) contact to allow the restarting of the belt

The New Desing

What did we pay attention?

• On new design i decided to use disks instead of main spring
• I made the cover smaller so it is square
• Thanks to three disks, refractive springs has gone
• Number of parts has decreased
• It would be usefull that screw on four points to connect cables easily.

• A lots of client have a lot of complaint about it!

• Meanwhile the external lever has a mechanical lock,manually resettable by the reset lever.

Main problem is spring

Spring is breaking right this region.

• Springs can’t provide long term use.
• After a while, they wear off, then are broken from their contact zone.
• Clients don’t want this product
• You may injured while mounting it.

• It is useless and isn’t bestseller.
• To assembly is so difficult
• Also there is a problem about to connecting cables to results of assembly.
• And it placed by 2 screws however it makes connection of cables harder
• There isn’t a switch that is connected to reset
• It can’t stop step by step.

What is Safety Switch for conveyor?(Pull cord switch)

• Briefly i gave consultation to firm
• Drawing and design a better emergency switch.

Depending on the application we may use different materials.

It is an emergency switch to stop the belt conveyor

instantly when an accident happens. Since the Switch is so designed that it should be installed at the side of belt conveyor and the pull cord should be mounted along conveyor, the switch can be actuated at any position .
