- The maggots collected from the crime scene were determined to be a Black Blow Fly insect. The life stage of the sample is 2nd instar larvae.
- The time of death is determined to be July 29th at 10am.
- Jack, Tom, and John were known to have visited the victim on July 29th.
- The blood spatter stain on the wall appeared to be a cast-off which means that the blood had been thrown from a weapon.
- If it was from a weapon, then it couldn’t have been a suicide.
Drug Analysis
- The results conclude that the victim died of a homicide because the blood spatter on the wall was from a weapon and there was a lot of blood lost from his head due to trauma.
- The person who committed the crime is John because he was a suspect in all of the investigations.
- John's motive may have been that he was high from the drugs.

- It was determined that the drug present at the crime scene was Brogaine which is a drug similar to ecstasy.
- John and Ben use Brogaine when with friends, which makes them possible suspects.
- Tom is known to be a recreational drug user, but he sells Speculate at parties.
