Tour of the animal cell

created by: Alex Jones

Last but not least the nucleus. The nucleus directs all of the cells activities, including reproduction.

first lets talk about

the cell membrane. Did you know

Here is a song about cells so you will remember cells.

that since the animal cell does not have a cell

wall

, the cell membrane forms a barrier between

the cytoplasm and the environment outside the cell.

Now lets talk about the vacuole. Some animal cells have vacuoles that store food, water, waste, and other materials.

OK the Golgi body. The Golgi bodies receive materials from the

endoplasmic reticulum and sends them to other parts of the cell. They also release materials outside the cell did you know that.

I got my answers in a book called life science I got my videos from YouTube, Mr. Parr and I got my pictures from Amazon. com and 1000 things about an animal cell Lets celebrate.

Lets begin our adventure of animal cells it will be a blast.

Lets talk about mitochondria. Most of the cells energy is produced within these rod-shaped organelles.

On to the cytoplasm the cytoplasm includes a gel-like fluid in which many different organelles are found.

Lets talk about the ribosomes. Did you know that these small structures function as factories to produce proteins. Ribosomes may attached to the endoplasmic reticulum, or they may float in the cytoplasm.

Lets talk about lysosomes. Did you know these small organelles contain chemicals that break

down food particles and worn-out cell parts here is a song about organelles.
