How It all Began
- In 1832 John Mathews created the first Soda water company
- He discovered that when marble dust is combined with sulfuric acid it creates carbonated water
- By the late 19th century soda water came in many different flavorings such as pineapple, grape, and orange. Egg drinks were also very common
