Coke's Response

  • Those issues have been running since the 70’s.
  • Coca Cola have always denied any wrong doing and responded as below:
  • Human right law suit judge ruling that was in favor of Coca Cola , later it was found that there is a conflict of interest as the judge old workplace is funded by coca cola
  • Hired an “independent” company to investigate the issue, Cal Safety and White & Case the company was audited and found lacking credible ethics and were commissioned by coke disaccredited by LA times and business week with the comment “failed to adhere to minimum accepted standards for competent factory investigations.”

Coke's Response

  • Coca Cola claimed that the UN International labor Organization will do an investigation into the matter, through the Coca Cola Case documentary the UN officials have denied such plans.
  • Colombian labor Union announced that the UN international labor organization led by Coca Cola Director of labor relations have removed Colombia from the 25 counties on watch list for abuses of labor; although Colombia is ranked as most dangerous for labor unions.
  • Coca started marketing campaign in universities that were boycotting the product but those campaigns never gave answers to the questions.

  • Denying the right to associations by torturing, threatening, firing and killing union members using paramilitary thugs.
  • Violating the trust of consumers and shareholders by outsourcing workers to avoid being sued.
