The fruits of the Holy Spirit are the “perfections that the Holy Spirit forms in us as the first fruits of eternal glory.” (CCC 1832)
St. Paul writes about them in his letter to the Galatians in chapter 5:22-25.
...But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
(basically it's our Code of Conduct!)
You control your costs by choosing the classes that best meet your needs.
Participate in as many or as few of the classes
as your students require: there is no expensive tuition or minimum number of hours needed to participate.
Once weekly classes do not dominate other family members' needs or schedules.

What are the fruits of the holy spirit?
The operating fee is an annual charge to families to help cover the expenses the co-op incurs.
Such expenses include:
*insurance to protect the students, teachers, and building
*rent to St. Andrew the Apostle Church
*minimal compensation to the study hall monitor
*maintenance fees of the website
*etc.
What is the Operating Fee?
The Operating Fee for the academic school year of
2013-2014 is $60 for one student or $90 for a family.
The Fruits of the Spirit Academy is excited
to announce its new incentive program
to lower the Operating Fee for families.
For each new family you refer who registers with FOSA, you will receive a $10 credit to your operating fee. No limit.
Register your students and
pay your 2013-2014 Operating
Fee by June 15, 2013. You will
save $10 off your Operating
Fee which keeps the cost to
last year's expense.
we do not have a formalized
dress code because if we had one, we would
be obligated to enforce it. instead, our student
body is comprised of good and moral kids who have not yet pushed the limits with clothing. we ask that everyone dress respectfully--girls need to have camisoles to cover low cut shirts and think of the modesty when dressing. we ask that no one wears shocking t-shirts with intentionally provoking messages. if someone were to dress in a negative way, we do reserve the right to send the student home that day or the parent to bring a change of clothes. however, in three years we have never had an issue.
Why work with us?
Beginning in fall 2012, we will have an orientation picnic. The picnic will begin with Mass at 8 a.m. and students will then attend abbreviated classes. After classes,
we can celebrate with a small potluck and activities in the field. More details will follow.
As a quick note, we no longer offer science and math
classes. We find their intensity too much for our current academic model and instead focus on the humanities. We apologize for this inconvenience.
