Lester retired from politics on December 14th 1967 and died from Liver Cancer on December 27th 1972 in Ottawa. Lester was buried on December 31st 1972. Lester was burried in Wrong Norman cemetary in Wakefield Quebec. Pierre Trudeau was the Prime Minister of Canada after Lester B. Pearson. Lester B. Pearson did a lot of things in his life. He worked as a politican and he was a Canadian Ambassador to the United States. He went to really good University's and he was born a very long time ago. He also made a design for the Canadian Flag.

They didn't used Lester's design exactly. They followed the maple leaf symbol that Lester used and they changed the colours.
Lester B. Pearson was assigned to London England and became a Canadian Ambassador to the United States. Lester almost became the first Secretary General of the United Nations in 1945. Lester got assigned to London England in the late 1930's. Lester became a Canadian Ambassador to the United States on January 1st 1945. Lester remained as a Canadian Ambassador to the United States through September 1946.

The Suez Crisis war was going on when Lester B. Pearson was a politician. Lester was the 14th Prime Minister of Canada. It took 17 years from being a Secretary of State of External Affairs to being the Prime Minister of Canada.

The Prime Minister I decided to do for my report is Lester B. Pearson [The B. stands for Bowles] . When Lester B. Pearson was training to be a pilot, his trainer said that his name was not cool. So his nickname was Mike. This is how Lester's [Mike's] life started. He was born on April 23rd, 1897. He was born in the town of Newtonbrook ON which is now part of Toronto. Lester was the son of Annie Sarah and Edwin Arthur Pearson. Lester's brothers were Vaughan Whitier and Marmaduke Pearson.
