- Partitioning division is when you divide to find the number of objects in each groups
- Partition division is also called equal groups or sharing

- You can recognize whether a division word problem based on the information presented in the problem
- In a partitioning word problem, the exact number of objects and the number of objects is known.
- However,the number of groups is not know and this is what you will need to find in order to solve the problem
