First, I will talk about how TV affects a child's mental being.
According to Nielsen Company, children between the ages of 2-5 are spending more than 32 hours a week watching TV.
1. When a child is watching too much TV, depending on how close they are sitting, it can affect their eyes.
2. Also, too much TV watching before bed time can affect their sleeping.
3. It is known that when a child is watching TV, it is keeping them up late, and making them hyperactive.
1. Always try to limit what a child watches, keep it to a minumum.
2. Make sure a child understands consequences.
3. The child should be taught right from wrong, when watching certain TV shows.
1. If there is too much TV in the home, there is less time for learning to be done.
2. A child could be learning how to perform certain task, rather than watching TV. ( learning how to ride a bike, read a book, and problem solving skills.)
3. Since there is so much TV, it can lead a child into becoming anti-social.
4. There is no interest in wanting to do things inside the home, participate in school. (Etc.)
