Assessment is verbal, and with each worksheet to make sure they are grasping what each animal and color is based on their sounds and photos.
Read out loud and have students try to fill in which animal or color comes next when you pause.
Activities
Controlled: Playing "Brown Bear Bingo", the names and colors will be pulled out of a jar. Using M&M's they must cover the correct animals and colors. The first person to get three in a row or diagonal wins
Open: have kids in two teams, each child can draw one line to one animal and must pass on the pencil, the first team to connect every animal to their name wins.
