  • Ipiranga Museum is a Brazilian history museum.
  • It contains a huge collection of furniture, documents and historically relevant artwork (Brazilian Empire Era).
  • Sao Paulo city was founded in 1554 by Jesuit Catholic colonists. The colonial period was from 1500-1822.
  • It is one of the most important art museums in Brazil. It is the oldest art museum in the city, founded in 1905.

It is the largest Japanese community outside of Japan in the world and has been growing since the 1950s.

Se Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sao Paulo. Its construction, began in 1913 and ended four decades later.
