Let's take a look at a poster. Look closely at it and identify one thing that is strong about it. Then identify one way that it could be improved.

Learning Objective: You will research a Tinkercad tool or shortcut to teach that tool to the rest of the class.

Essential Question: How do keyboard shortcuts affect your effectiveness as a designer?

Do Now: We can and will get faster at manipulating objects in Tinkercad! Think about yesterday's design. In your notes, list all the things that were challenging about completing it.

Your research is within document 03.14.

Use that research to complete the poster and ensure that your poster to meets all requirements.

If creating an electronic document, share the document with me and paste a link to it at the bottom of 03.14.

Determine which Boolean operation is shown within each shaded Venn Diagram . Then write the mathematical statement that describes it.

Do Now: In your notes, write two elements of a well-designed poster.

Then write two components that should be present on your poster in order to maximize what others can learn about your assigned tool/shortcut.

Basic Laptop Rules:

1. No headphones - except when watching assigned videos.

2. Only use the laptop assigned to you.

3. Carry the laptop by the base (not the screen).

4. On task - doing so is worth 10% of your overall grade on the assignment.

Poster & Video Demo

You and a partner will be assigned a Tinkercad tool.

  • Your task is to become an expert on that tool.
  • This assignment is a summative grade that consists of three parts.
  • Due today: research sheet. This will set you up for the other two deliverables.
  • Due today: A poster demonstrating what your tool/shortcut is and how to put it to use.
  • Due the class after: storyboard and demonstration video showing others how to use the tool.
