Artistic Innovation/ Convention

Art Making Process/ Materials

This painting depicts illustrious figures of the past, thus making it a relic. Also, the complexity of design and detail in portraying these important people doing something as simple as holding their children while simultaneously showing that they had the favor of their god is another reason why it's so cool and worth studying today.
