Kinsey Simpson, Taylor Gowans:
Endangered Species.
Other causes of endangered species are disease and competition from other species.
The things we can do to help are to preserve nature and try to keep the earth clean by minimizing pollution.
The ten most endangered species are:
1. Ivory Billed Woodpecker
2. Amur Leopard
3. Javan Rhinoceros
4. Greater Bamboo Lemur
5. Northern Right Whale
6. Western Lowland Gorilla
7. Leatherback Sea Turtle
8. Siberian (Amur) Tiger
9. Chinese Giant Salamander
10. Kakapo Parrot
There are numerous things that can cause animals to become endangered. For example habitat loss. Habitat loss can be caused by the construction of homes, buildings, roads, timber harvesting, and loss of farmlands.
An endangered species is a population of organisms which is facing a high risk of becoming extinct because it is either few in numbers or threatened by changing environmental or predation parameters.
GO GREEN!!!! :) :) :)
Pollution can also cause a species to become endangered. For example water, air, and land pollution can cause animals to become endangered and eventually extinct.
