Winter: Lasts for 6-7 mo, Average temperature below 0 degree Celsius.

Spring: Flowers bloom, ponds melt, Animals come out of hibernation.

Summer and Rainfall: Rainy, short lived, 21 Celsius, Yearly average rainfall is 30-85 cm Falls all summer.

Fall: Trees losing leaves, Animals get ready for hibernation shortest

Not much sunlight in the Taiga.

Oldest rocks in Nova Scotia are found in the Platau-Taiga Region.

Over a long period of erosion previously deeply buried rocks which now form the highest elevations in the province were exposed.

The average temperature is below freezing for six months out of the year, in the winter time the temperature reaches -65 to 30° F and in the summer time it can get as low as 20° F and get as high as 70° F.

Located in: Russia, Canada, Northern Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Japan, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and its south of the Tundra.

Fewer animals species than the tropical or temperate deciduous. Insect breed in the melting water D: , Birds come to the the taiga to nest and lay their eggs in the springs and to eat the plentiful insects, that are breeding...in water!

Human Impact, Pollution, and constructive efforts

Humans have built in the many cities in or around Taiga biomes across the northern part of the earth, Pollution is moderate with normal cities.
