Conclusion
- Harry discovers the Mirror of Erised, or “Desire” spelled backwards.
- Mirror states, “I show not your face, but your heart’s desire.”
- Harry looks in mirror and sees his parents waving back.
- Harry continues to visit for several nights in a row until Dumbledore explains meaning and asks him to stop.
- Harry becomes under the impression that Sirius is the reason his parents were murdered.
- Angered, Harry vows to avenge his parent’s death by murdering Sirius.
BARGAINING/DEPRESSION
- Resurrection Stone
- Harry confesses his desire to die to the Resurrection Stone which opens to show Harry his parents, Sirius, and Lupin.
- Harry apologizes to them stating he never wanted them to die for him.
- He asks his loved ones to stay with him till the end of the journey.
- The plea gives Harry the courage to continue.
ACCEPTANCE
- Harry visits his parent’s graves.
