Indian Missionary
SADHU SUNDAR SINGH
As a Sadhu he wore an yellow robe and lived on the charity of others and began his life spreading the simple message of love and peace and rebirth through Jesus Christ.
''I am not worthy to follow in the steps of my lord'' he said, ''but like him I want no homes and no possessions'' so he sold off all his possessions and journeyed barefoot from village to village preaching the good news of Christ's kingdom.
Still he could not find peace in his own religion and tried to kill himself. So he decided to throw himself under the train if God did not reveal to him the true way of peace in his heart.
That very night back in his room he had a vision and was surprised to see a cloud of light that was getting bigger. He saw Jesus figure in it and not his traditional God ‘s figure.
Jesus Christ was there in the room shining and radiating an inexpressible joy , peace and love looking at him with compassion. At that time he realised that Jesus Christ is alive
