- Dan Cooper's threats did not go unnoticed. The attendant warned the pilot.
- They landed the plane and told the other passengers it was because of a "Minor Mechanical Difficulty".
- Cooper was given everything he asked.
- The plane then lifted off back into the air with only Pilot Scott, flight attendant Mucklow, copilot Rataczak, and flight engineer H. E. Anderson, and Dan Cooper himself aboard.

- The Hijacking was preformed by a man named Dan Cooper on a Boeing 727-100 plane.
- The man was calm as he showed one of the Flight Attendants the bomb he had hid in his briefcase.
- After showing her, he requested 3 things that if granted, he would not use the bomb.
- He asked for:
- $200,000
- four parachutes
- and a fuel truck standing by in Seattle to refuel the aircraft upon arrival
- He used these items to commit a crime that is unsolved to this day.
