She stayed for months and months until the woman and the woodcutter decided that they would look in the room where the girl was weaving.

So they took a peek in the room and they saw a crane weaving at the loom. When she noticed them she said goodbye and left.

The woodcutter realized it was the crane that he had saved.

  • Once on a snowy day a woodcutter came across a crane that was trapped. So he saved it. Then it flew away.
  • Later he and his wife heard knocking on the door.
  • When they went to answer it they saw that it was a girl. The girl told them she was on her way to see family members.
  • So since it was snowing she asked if she could stay. So she stayed. But she said I will weave here but you may not come in while I am weaving so they agreed.
  • They ended up getting rich from her weaving. They also began to love her like a daughter.
