Culture misrepresentation will still exist and play a big part in our life. Although discrimination can not be fully eliminated, and there will always be culture shock and barriers. Being open minded and acceptable can always let us stay informed, think critically and speak up when you are have a chance.

The version between the movie and traditional legend tale of Mulan varies greatly, and many audience find the movie somehow controversial and offensive to the oringinal Chinese culture.

  • Media product influnce people on their daily basis and it is unfair to judge a race based on their color, their appearance and what they were "thinked" to be good at.
  • Stereotypes present in the movie can distort the audiance's judgement, and can be offensive to other cultures.
