- Just like fiction, dialogue should be unique to each character.

- You want the audience to feel they have come to know the character fairly well.
Contrasts
Consistency
- Create contrasts in your character.
- For example: Joe is arrogant, vain, and sexist while also being childish, insecure and lonely.
- These characters should be generally consistent.
- But have a few contrasting traits.
