The main symptom of chickenpox is rash. it can take 1 to 3 weeks after getting the virus before rash appears ,other symptoms may start 1 to 2 days. these symptoms can be similar to flu.

the chickenpox rash usually appears in stages:

stage one: it starts out as spots

stage two: after few hours spots turn into blisters

stage three: after few days blisters dry and turn into scabs
