Roommate Relationships
- Know what you want, and what you are willing to give
- Others cannot always meet your needs
- Compromise when necessary
- Look at situations from the other person's point of view
- Work on communication
- Be intentional in your relationships. Make sure to be present and value things like transparency and integrity.
- Think before you confront
- Maintain honest communication
- This is a very tricky process and it works differently for everyone. Some people have success with random placement, others choose to room with someone they know from before college. What's important is developing a good roommate relationship.
