Importance in Writing
- Logos provides examples and
logic to the writers argument.
- Logos is very important when a
writer is trying to persuade his/her
audience. It shows that they
know what they are talking about.
It creates factual support of the topic. Logos is a very important rhetorical device and is very effect if used correctly.
Effects in Writing
Logos plays a big role in writing. When a writing uses logos it, strengthens their purpose, therefore they are more likely to get their purpose across. More people are prone to believing facts than they are to opinions. Many people will find a piece more scholarly and persuasive than a piece with the authors bias. The reading might not havethe same bias as the reader, therefore the purpose of the piece will not reach out to the reader. If the author uses facts and support for their arguement, they are more likely to be heard.
