History and Description
Students who fall below academic progress requirements are placed on warning, serious warning, or suspension. In addition, students who pass no courses in a given semester or fewer than five courses in two sequential semesters are eligible for suspension. Suspension involves a mandatory one-year separation from the University. Exceptions to these rules are made when documented disabilities, health, or family issues significantly interfere with students' ability to focus on their studies.
Brown takes both SAT and ACT scores. For applicants who take the ACT, we strongly encourage, but do not require, the writing component. Brown will accept test results for either the old or the new SAT.

I intend to major in business and Depaul has the Driehaus college of Business that gives students real world experience in one of the most populated and business filled cities: Chicago. You save a lot of time and tuition money by following the business program depaul provides.
Providence combines a relatively small, walkable scale with some features (restaurants, cultural activities, historical significance, architecturally interesting buildings) that make it a bit more interesting than the average medium-sized town. The mall is only a 10-15 minute walk from RISD and a 20 minute walk from Brown and has a huge Imax movie theatre as well as all your basic shopping places (Apple Store, Nordstrom, Barnes and Noble, etc.). There's a CPK and a Cheesecake Factory there as well. A two minute walk from Brown will get you to Thayer Street which is the main "college hangout" area in Prov.

I chose to research Brown University not only because I was interested in learning more about it but because of the legacy it hold and I wanted to learn more about why it was such a popular school. The fact that it was the first school in the United States that accepted students without taking their religious affiliation into consideration makes me reconsider the general stereotype ivies have.
For incoming freshman, there are Academic Scholarships, Service and Leader Scholarships, Talent Scholarships, and External Scholarships.

Social Activities
The Kelly School of Business of Indiana University can be another platform in which I can further explore business, with its unique brand management word study program that is available for undergraduate and MBA students. Bloomington Brands is a hands-on program that will help students like me, who learn from experience, better understand the features of a business. Another aspect that is important to me as a student who is applying to Indiana University Bloomington is the board of successful Alumni that is provided. Executive officers and Presidents of massive companies such as Ford Motor Company and American Eagle Outfitters influence and contribute to the student’s future plans and goals. To be able to see Alumni be so successful in the field they’ve chosen to pursue helps gives undecided students like myself a possible career path to consider.
Nearly 1,278 members and 29 chapters make up the Fraternity and Sorority Community here at DePaul. There are 12 male fraternities, 16 female sororities, and 1 co-educational organization. DePaul Fraternity and Sorority members make up approximately 8% of the student population and are involved in several other student organizations across campus.
